Ordinarily, if an economics minister from a federal state in Germany visited Ontario, would the local press in Canada take notice? Hardly. Communication Consultants faced a similar task in 2009 when the Honourable Sandra Pupatello, Ontario Minister for Economic Development and Trade visited Germany to talk with potential investors. The minister's office was hoping for widespread media coverage. CC recruited journalists from daily and business media to hold one-to-one interviews with the minister. This resulted in unparalleled reporting in the German media.
