Schwäbisch Media, based in Leutkirch in the Allgäu region, is a leading media company in the Baden-Württemberg area. It employs around 900 permanent staff, 3,000 freelance workers and 5,000 delivery personnel. The company's portfolio covers the entire spectrum of media and media-related services, focusing on regional and local information for its readers, viewers, listeners, Internet users and advertising partners. Its main product is the Schwäbische Zeitung newspaper – Baden-Württemberg's biggest regional subscription newspaper, with almost 180,000 copies. Its media mix also includes the daily portal Schwäbische.de and the associated mobile applications, the television broadcasting group Regio TV, numerous special interest magazines, subsidiaries for cinema advertising and mail delivery and stakes in radio broadcasters. Schwäbisch Media is relocating its headquarters to Ravensburg in 2012, where it will continue to drive forward the dovetailing of the various media within the Schwäbisch Media brand under one roof.
