The Siemens Industry Sector (Erlangen) is the world's number one supplier of environmentally friendly manufacturing, transportation, building and lighting technologies. With end-to-end automation technologies and a comprehensive array of industry solutions, Siemens increases the productivity, efficiency and flexibility of its customers in the industry and infrastructure segments. The Industry Sector comprises six divisions – Building Technologies, Drive Technologies, Industry Automation, Industry Solutions, Mobility and Osram. Siemens Industry generated sales of around 34.9 billion euros in fiscal year 2010 with a workforce of approximately 204,000 worldwide (September 30).
