Panini Verlags GmbH – part of the Panini Group based in Modena, Italy – is Germany's largest publishing house in the children and youth segment and Germany's biggest publisher of comics. It employs around 70 staff at its headquarters in Stuttgart. The Group as a whole generated sales of more than 800 million euros in 2010, 87 million euros of which was attributable to the German subsidiary. Panini Verlags GmbH publishes 130 books, 121 comics, 70 magazines and 20 to 25 sticker collections a year. Its publishing range also includes DVDs and calendars. The LIMA Merchandisers' Association named Panini "Licensee of the Year" in 2010. Communication Consultants is responsible for Panini Verlags GmbH's corporate communication.
